RENOFORM OL 8025

Chlorine-free Forming and Fine Blanking Oil

Description

RENOFORM OL 8025 is a heavy-duty lubricant designed for use in fine blanking and severe forming operations. It is a chlorine-free alternative to highly chlorinated oils typically used in fine blanking and is designed for use on ferrous metals. It can also be used in cold heading operations but is not intended for dual-side use.

RENOFORM OL 8025 contains extreme pressure additives and a lubrication package that can provide protection of tools and the work-piece. It is typically used in moderate fine blanking operations up to 6 mm blanks. Its mid-range viscosity provides better application options and is cleaner operating in the press.

Compared to chlorinated oils and many lubricants composed of sulfurized lard oil, RENOFORM OL 8025 demonstrates improved resistance to corrosion and staining. It is light colored and low odour.

How to Use

RENOFORM OL 8025 is used as received. It can be applied by spray, roller, dip, or flood and performs effectively in recycling systems. The product should be stored in its original sealed container at temperatures between 7ºC (45ºF) and 32ºC (90ºF).  Safety data sheets are available. Before handling, read the product information and safety data sheets for proper handling and health hazard information.
