Driver Instructions and Customer Information
Instructions to the driver
- The driver is to report to INCOMING GOODS at the customer's company.
- Then go to the unloading facilities according to the instructions received there.
- Only perform operations that are specified by the customer's personnel and in the presence of the customer.
- Always remain in close proximity to the vehicle.
- During both loading and unloading operations, ensure that the product loaded/unloaded from each tank matches the product described in the corresponding documentation.
- It is mandatory to carry and use the necessary personal protective equipment during the unloading operation: safety goggles or face shield, plastic gloves, safety footwear, helmet, and reflective vest.
- Never discharge substances or wash equipment on the customer's premises without the express prior consent of the customer.
- In case of emergency, accidents or incidents, follow the instructions of the person in charge of the area. Once the unloading operation has been completed, leave the premises with the express knowledge of the customer.
- For tank shipments, it is essential to specify the tank number next to the name of each product. Tank 1: the one closest to the cabin.
ADR products
- ADR classified products have the cargo description below the name.
- The company FUCHS LUBRICANTES, S.A.U. certifies that these goods are accepted for transport by road and that their condition, packaging and labelling are in accordance with the provisions of the European Agreement concerning the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR).
- For ADR products, the signing driver declares:
- That the loaded vehicle complies with the conditions established in the ADR regulations.
- That the goods have been correctly loaded and/or stowed in accordance with the aforementioned regulations.
- That written instructions are carried by the driver, in a language understood by the driver, regarding ADR goods to be transported including safety measures and other measures to be taken in the event of an accident, fire and hazardous spillage or leakage.
- That the driver is familiar with the general and special provisions on vehicles, loading and unloading, handling and transport of dangerous goods.
Information for customers
Excise taxes:
- The products supplied by FUCHS LUBRICANTES, S.A.U. are not intended for use as any type of fuel (see also https://www.fuchs.com/es/en/company/policies-and-approvals/terms-conditions-and-policies/).
Waste/Packaging:
In compliance with Article 18 of R.D. 782/1998, we advise you that, based on Article 12.1 of Law 11/1997, as the final holder of packaging belonging to an Integrated Management System (IMS), you are responsible for the proper environmental management of the packaging waste or containers.
