Application
RENOQUENCH MC 310 is a thermal fluid recommended for use in facilities in which it is necessary to provide heat or indirect heating in general (heat generators).
The transmission of heat by thermal fluids is used in industrial processes which operate with precise temperature demands with regard to their facilities, where the possibility of over-heating can lead to pyrolisis and the destruction of manufactured products.
Typical sectors of application: the automobile industry and in the metal transformation sector in general, in the rubber and plastic by-products industries, wood agglomerates industry, paper industry, in the production of textiles, asphalt, greases, chemicals, colorants, varnishes, paints, vegetable oils, waxes, in the food industry, in the manufacture of soaps and detergents, in the printing industry, in the manufacture of floor coverings, etc...
Properties and Advantages
- Due to its chemical nature, which increases thermal stability, it has great resistance to oxidation.
- Great specific heat, which permits a maximum heat content per volume unit.
- Rapid heat transfer due to its great thermal conductivity.
- Low viscosity which improves heat transmission.
- Excellent fluidity, even at low temperatures, which avoids the difficulty of start-up operations under cold conditions.
- Low vapor pressure which reduces loss due to evaporation and prevents the tendency of conventional thermal fluids to form pockets of gas that generate cavitations, leading to load loss in the pumping units.
- Excellent lubricating power which favors the proper conservation of the pumps and valves.
