Description
CASSIDA COMPOUND S is a water-based cream for use in it is neat or diluted form for primarily using as a pressing, extrusion and forming lubricant in the manufacture of containers in the food and beverage industries. It can also be used as non-stick coating of foils and metal food-packaging. Registered by NSF for use where there is potential for incidental food contact (Class H1).
Produced according to FUCHS Quality Standards, in facilities where HACCP audit and Good Manufacturing practice have been implemented according to management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 21469.
Applications
- Pressing and forming lubricant in the manufacture of cans and containers in the food and beverage industries
- Stamping and deep drawing of aluminium foils for food-packaging.
- Non-stick coating for varnishes and paints on the walls of metal foils and paint booths.
- Water-based release agent for moulds in blister machines used for the deep-drawing of film (bottom film).
- Water-based cream for no-load lubrication.
Application Instructions
It is used pure or diluted in water, depending on the thickness of the layer to be applied. In the case of dilution, a concentration of 50% w/w is recommended. In the case of non-diluted use, it is usually applied by brush, swab, or roller.
Seal and Paint Compatibility
Compatible with the elastomers, gaskets, seals and paints normally used in food machinery lubrication systems.
Handling and Storage
All food grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemical substances, and foodstuffs and out of direct sunlight or other heat sources. Store between 0 °C and +40 °C. Provided that the product has been stored under these conditions we recommend using the product within 1 year from the date of manufacture.
