Description

MOLYPAUL 900 is a pasty refractory solid lubricant for the surface coating of ceramic materials to be used in the iron, steel and refractory industry. MOLYPAUL 900 contains a combination of solids and an especially adapted additive package reducing the graphite oxidation at high temperatures. MOLYPAUL 900 forms a high-temperature resistant dry film. The product does not release any fumes when heated; it is free of mineral oil and harmless in use.

Field of application

MOLYPAUL 900 fills superficial porosities of ceramic materials and increases their performance. MOLYPAUL 900 adjusts surface irregularities and improves the sliding behaviour of ceramic slide plates used in sliding valve systems. The intake of oxygen from the air is suppressed in the casting process and the wear behavior of the ceramic surface is improved, especially in the working area. MOLYPAUL 900 is suitable for the use on any ceramic product versions and combinations.

Method of application

MOLYPAUL 900 is to be applied to dirt and dust-free surfaces by brush, sponge or roller.

Industries

  • Steel, metals
  • Metal processing
