PS LASER RACING – SA RALLY RAID & DAKAR

PS Laser Racing is a prominent South African rally raid team that competes in both the local South African Rally-Raid Championship (SARRC) and the prestigious Dakar Rally. The team is spearheaded by German driver Daniel Schröder, who has a rich motorsport heritage, having transitioned from motorcycle racing—where he completed the Dakar Rally twice on a bike—to car racing, following in the footsteps of his father, Jürgen Schröder. Daniel has participated in multiple Dakar Rallies, achieving a notable 28th overall finish in 2023 and aiming for a top-15 placement in the 2025 edition. In 2025, he competed in the T1+ category driving a Volkswagen Amarok prepared by WCT, with South African co-driver Henry Köhne, and finished 47th overall ,so far.
