Preview-Taklimakan Rally 2018

Lauded as the Dakar Rally of China, the Taklimakan Rally is the greatest and toughest cross-country rally for the Chinese people. This international off-road event where motorbikes, cars and trucks race at the same venue is the first in Asia and its scale is the largest in China. Race conditions are known to be brutal and the competition onerous; the complexity of rally tracks will be a true test of the performance of automotive lubricants.

The upcoming2018 Taklimakan Rally will be held from June 2nd to 14th in Xinjiang. Starting and ending in Urumqi, the 5,000-km route brings competitors through Turpan, Shanshan, Hami and Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, racing a mileage of over 2,500 km. Long distances and rough terrains are the highlights of this year's rally.
