RENISO SYNTH 68

A product formulated from highly-stable polyalphaolefin (PAO) with excellent flow properties in NH3 systems working at high rates and low evaporation temperatures. Due to its exceptional cold flow properties, RENISO SYNTH 68 is also suitable for use in plate evaporators working at low temperatures and with tubular heat exchangers with narrow-diameter tubes.

RENISO SYNTH 68 can also be used as a refrigeration oil for applications with R723 (mixture of dimethyl ether and ammonia) and CO2 (not miscible with subcritical CO2). Thanks to its good solubility behaviour (low dissolution) and its extraordinary viscosity-temperature behaviour (high VI), RENISO SYNTH 68 is particularly suitable for use with hydrocarbons such as propane (R290) or propylene (R1270).

RENISO SYNTH 68 is also an NSH H1 certified food-grade lubricant.

  • Extreme chemical and thermal stability with NH3
  • High stability with CO2 (R 744) and hydrocarbons
  • High viscosity index, good viscosity temperature behaviour
  • Extremely low pourpoint
  • Low evaporating losses
  • NSF H1 registration: registration no. 136600
