Description
LUBRODAL C 120 is a stable water-graphite dispersion, based on the optimum concentration of finely ground natural graphite.
Areas of application
LUBRODAL C 120 is used in cold and hot metalworking processes. Among other things it can be used as a coating for dies, a release agent for glass workpieces, a high-temperature dry lubricant, a conductive coating, a forging lubricant for the cold forging of heavy sheet steel (dishing), as anode stub coating.
Method of application
For the mentioned areas of application, we recommend that this product is being diluted in proportions between 1:2 and 1:10. The workpieces and surfaces can be coated by spraying, dipping or by brush. After being dried, LUBRODAL C 120 shows a highly adhesive, pore-free layer of graphite which can be polished to a mirror-like finish. This graphite layer conducts heat very well and has a high resistance to extreme temperatures.
