VITROLIS SPC 100 L

Graphite lubricant for mould coating

Advantages/Benefits

  • Simple operation
  • Good lubricating quality
  • Extremely durable, stable film
  • Improves initial results following change of mould
  • Smooth and uniform coating
  • Best possible economic efficiency

VITROLIS SPC 100L sets new standards regarding the important criteria for lubrication, ergonomics and environmental compatibility.

Description

VITROLIS SPC 100L for the “spray coating of moulds” is a specially developed graphite lubricant, which dries immediately at room temperature leaving a highly durable, stable film on metallic surfaces.

The thin film guarantees good lubricating properties of the moulds.

VITROLIS SPC 100L is recommended for blank moulds, rings, base plates and finish moulds – particularly in cases where cracking can be a problem.

VITROLIS SPC 100L improves the initial results as well as the appearance of the glass after the mould has been changed.

Application

VITROLIS SPC 100L is sprayed at room temperature onto the clean, grease-free iron or bronze moulds from a distance of about 30cm.

A smooth, uniform coating of 0.2 to 0.5mm is sufficient to produce the best results.

The film is already touch-dry after a few minutes and usable after approximately 2 hours.
