Description
MOLYPAUL 959 is a cream-colored liquid emulsion forming well wetting, non-hardening and non-drip films on casting molds for the production of pre-cast ceramic parts. MOLYPAUL 959 is non-staining after the drying and heat-curing processes. The emulsion is not critical to use and easily biodegradable.
Field of application
MOLYPAUL 959 is a versatile product designed for the use as a mold release agent on wooden, laminate, plastic, metal and composite-material molds. It can be used in combination with any conventional refractory material, binding agent and filler.
Method of application
Prior to its application, MOLYPAUL 959 should be stirred until a homogenous mixture is obtained. After long storage periods the use of an electric stirrer may be advisable. In case of a daily use manual stirring is sufficient. MOLYPAUL 959 can be applied using automatic spraying systems, compressed-air and paraffin-type spray guns, paint brushes and rollers, sponges, or rags. Consumption will vary subject to the properties of the substrate between 50 and 80g/m².
