Description
LUBRODAL F 84 HM-PLUS is a water miscible die lubricant, free of graphite. It shows excellent propulsive effects and forms a brown adhesive releasing film of high lubricity upon the engraved surfaces.
Field of application
LUBRODAL F 84 HM-PLUS is used for hot forging of steel, in particular if graphite containing die lubricants cannot be used due to hygienic reasons.LUBRODAL F 84 HM-PLUS is especially designed for hammer forging.
Method of application
LUBRODAL F 84 HM-PLUS is a concentrate and must be diluted with water before application. It can be applied via suitable spraying systems or by spray pistols.A strong spray jet with adjustable throughputs of the nozzles as well as an adjustable air-fluid ratio are required.
Note
Standard values for the dilution of LUBRODAL F 84 HM-PLUS with water:
Difficult transformations : 1 : 2 – 5
Transformations of average difficulty : 1 : 5 – 20
Simple transformations : 1 : 10 – 30
The optimal ratio of dilution has to be determined in practice.
