KRT Racing Takes the Step into Europe with FUCHS

After a successful season in the Gebhardt Ginetta Nordic Championship, KRT Racing is taking its next major step forward. With FUCHS continuing as technical partner, the team is now investing in both an expanded Nordic presence and an entry into the prestigious GT4 Germany series.

KRT Racing can look back on an intense and highly successful season in the Gebhardt Ginetta Nordic Championship – one of the most competitive racing series in the Nordic region, where identical cars place maximum emphasis on driver skill and the team’s technical expertise. Throughout the season, the team delivered consistent performances, secured multiple victories, and ultimately claimed the championship title with driver Erik Bertilsson.

“The past season has been both intense and highly educational for us. We maintained a high and consistent level throughout the year, and the tough competition really put our technical decisions to the test. Finishing the season as champions is clear proof that we are doing the right things,” says driver Alexzander Kristiansson.

A key factor behind the success has been the reliability of the cars – an area where FUCHS products have played a significant role. The racing environment subjects engines, gearboxes, and braking systems to extreme loads. Despite this, KRT Racing was able to confirm minimal wear throughout the season.

“Using FUCHS premium products gives us invaluable confidence. We know that our components are protected even when we push the cars to their limits. A mechanical failure costs both money and valuable championship points – thanks to FUCHS, we have been able to avoid that,” Kristiansson explains.

Looking ahead to 2026, KRT Racing is embarking on its most ambitious programme to date. In the Nordic region, the team will field five Ginetta cars, while Kristiansson and fellow champion Erik Bertilsson will compete in GT4 Germany – one of Germany’s largest and most prestigious junior racing categories.

“This means stepping up to an international level with even higher demands on professionalism. I’m really looking forward to measuring myself against the best junior drivers in Europe on iconic circuits. I have great confidence in the team and all our partners – together, we will be competitive,” says Kristiansson.
