Lubricants are found everywhere, from chainsaws and steelwork rollers to wind and hydroelectric power stations. They are vital for ensuring the function of many important things in our lives. At FUCHS, we therefore believe we have a duty of care to do everything we can to minimise the impact of our products on the environment and on people, directly and indirectly.
One way to do this is to replace non-renewable components with ingredients that are renewable and biodegradable. Another way is to develop new products that perform better than the existing ones. When lubricants contribute to vehicles, machines and factories being more energy efficient, less energy is used. And reducing friction is where the greatest environmental benefits can be gained.
