RENISO KC 68

Description

The oils in the RENISO K range are based on highly refined naphthenic selective raffinates. The oils are specially dewaxed for use as refrigeration oils at low temperatures. The products in the RENISO K range have excellent stability with the refrigerant ammonia (NH₃), HCFC and hydrocarbon refrigerants.

Application

RENISO KM 32, KS 46, KC 68 and KW 150 are recommended for use with ammonia (NH₃), HCFC (e.g. R22) and hydrocarbon refrigerants (e.g. propane, propene, isobutane) in open-, semi hermetic-, and hermetic compressors. RENISO KES 100 is recommended for high condensation and high evaporation temperatures with HCFC refrigerants (e.g. bus and car air conditioning systems).

Advantages

  • High chemical and thermal stability with ammonia- NH₃
  • Prevent breakdowns caused by formation of wax deposits
  • Very good flowability at low temperatures (especially at low evaporation temperatures)
  • Good solubility and miscibility with HCFC refrigerants, e.g., R22
  • Very low water content - ultra dried
