TITAN RACE HP SAE 25W-50
Description
TITAN RACE HP 25W-50 is a synthetic motor oil for racing engines and standard engines used in heavyduty applications. The oil has been optimized to deliver maximum lubrication when the engine is performing at maximum output and high temperatures.
Application
TITAN RACE HP 25W-50 is recommended mainly for engines used in racing, e.g., rally racing, track racing, drag racing (including alcohol and nitro fueled engines), boat racing, etc. This product can also be used in engines with or without turbochargers or forced induction. TITAN RACE HP 25W-50 is also suitable for standard engines in cars, boats or motorcycles that are used in heavy-duty applications, or whenever a high-viscosity oil is desired, e.g., when towing a heavy load or driving cross-country. Not recommended for standard use during the winter.
Advantages/Benefits
TITAN RACE HP 25W-50 is a synthetic motor oil with performance beyond the ordinary, and is used as a lubricant in racing engines run under extreme conditions. Regular motor oils contain viscosity improvers that are unable to tolerate the high stresses and temperatures that occur in racing engines. TITAN RACE HP 25W-50 contains no viscosity improvers, which makes the oil very stable and produces a strong oil film. The oil viscosity is high, and has been intentionally set to fall within the upper range of SAE 50. This oil thus maintains constant high oil pressure when hot, even at oil pan temperatures of up to +150°C. The synthetic base oil’s excellent low-temperature characteristics also ensure easy starts and rapid oil-pressure buildup. TITAN RACE HP 25W-50 has been formulated with extra wear protection to lubricate parts that are particularly subject to wear, such as rocker arm camshafts (when stiffer springs are installed). The engine must be warmed up when started at -10 °C to -15 °C.
