ANTICORIT WMC 9000

Description

ANTICORIT WMC 9000 is a water-miscible modern corrosion protection concentrate which forms a stable and coarse dispersed emulsion which yields an extraordinary corrosion protection film. ANTICORIT WMC 9000 creates a thin, oily, non-sticky and non-resinating protective film on bare metal and phosphated surfaces. ANTICORIT WMC 9000 is used whenever high requirements for corrosion protection are necessary, despite it’s low costs when used as an emulsion.

Application

To prepare an emulsion of ANTICORIT WMC 9000, a water temperature between 40 and 50 °C is recommended. Product is typically allied by dipping, spraying is also possible.

Preparation:

Heat water to target temperature, and then add concentrate. Agitation will speed up the formation of a stable emulsion but is typically not necessary when bath is in use. ANTICORIT WMC 9000 should be used as an emulsion (5 – 20 %) at temperatures of 20 – 50 °C. Depending on the concentration, different film thickness will result. Bath temperatures should not exceed 50 °C if the concentration is > 10 %. During the term the bath should be inspected in regular intervals.

Benefits

  • emulsion is easy to set up
  • excellent corrosion protection
  • excellent wetting properties
  • easy to remove
  • free of barium
  • free of secondary amines through TRGS 615 ***), Point 2 (5)

Storage Conditions

If sealed in the original container ANTICORIT WMC 9000 can be stored up to 12 months at temperatures between + 5 and + 40 °C. The indication of a minimum period of storage does not include any guarantee of durability.
