PLANTOLUBE SP 32
Description
PLANTOLUBE SP 32 is a circulation fluid based on synthetic esters and carefully selected additives. It has been specifically developed and tested for use in submersible pumps and is also suitable for use as control fluid in subsea ROVs.
Application
PLANTOLUBE SP 32 is suitable for use in offshore applications where there is a risk for leakage into the sea and is classified as yellow under Norwegian guidelines for offshore operations, HOCNF. It is based on readily biodegradable base oils and additives (>60%, 28 days).
PLANTOLUBE SP 32 can be used for lubrication of bearings and shaft seal, electrical insulation and cooling of the main electric motor.
PLANTOLUBE SP 32 shows excellent performance in MTM friction test (mini traction machine) and protects the equipment against wear and corrosion. It also shows a high dielectric strength which gives the fluid good isolating properties.
PLANTOLUBE SP 32 has a high natural viscosity index (VI >150) and a very good air release < 1min.
