GLEITMO 1952 V
Description
GLEITMO 1952V is a suspension of GLEITMO White Solid Lubricants in water. The dry lubricating film remaining upon application shows a very good adhesion on the different surface types, forming a clear, absolutely tack-free film, that has no influence on the other properties of the coated material.
Field of application
GLEITMO 1952V has been developed for mass-part-lubrication such as stainless steel screws and nuts, selftapping and self-forming screws or rivets.
Method of application
Depending on tribologic requirements, GLEITMO 1952V can be diluted with water (drinking water quality). For dilution, water is added to GLEITMO 1952V while constantly stirring. The same sequence should be followed for replenishing the immersion bath. To avoid any risk of corrosion, it is most urgently recommended to dry the parts immediately after the dipping process by hot air (up to approx. 60 -80°C).The equipment commonly used in the galvanizing industry has proved to be very convenient in case of large coating quantities. The parts to be coated should be degreased.
