FRICOFIN DP 50
Description
FRICOFIN DP 50 is a coolant Ready-Mix based on monoethylene glycol and demineralized water for commercial vehicles, passenger cars and stationary engines. Thanks to its modern BluEV Technology formulation, the product FRICOFIN DP 50 is excellent for use for indirect cooling of hybrid and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) in automotive and heavy-duty applications if there is no requirement on electrical conductivity. As a premixed Si-OAT antifreeze, it combines inhibitors of organic acids with longest change intervals and fast reacting silicates. FRICOFIN DP 50 is free of 2-EHA, nitrites, amines, borates and phosphates.
Application
FRICOFIN DP 50 was originally developed for conventional applications but additionally fulfills the requirements in selected hybrid and E-applications according to the manufacturers specifications. BluEV Technology therefore builds the bridge between existing and new lubricant applications. FRICOFIN DP 50 is a 50 vol% mixture with water and the concentrate of FRICOFIN DP. FRICOFIN DP 50 can be used directly in the cooling system without further dilution. FRICOFIN DP 50 is miscible with coolants approved as per VW TL 774- C (G11), TL 774-F (G12+), 774-G (G12++) and 774-J (G13), however, to achieve a full performance a complete change is recommended. Always observe the manufacturers recommendations when mixing with other coolants. Manufacturers’ drain intervals and recommendations about the concentration are mandatory. As with all coolants, even with FRICOFIN DP 50 , the use of galvanized components in cooling circuits and as a part of storage or mixing installation (e.g. for pipes) should be avoided.
