Description
GLEITMO HMP 9020 K is a watery suspension of high- purity molybdenum disulfide combined with special additives miscible with water.
The use of GLEITMO HMP 9020 K is environmentally compatible; it does not contain any organic solvents. After drying, a thin and dry lubricating film remains which has excellent lubrication properties.
Areas of application
GLEITMO HMP 9020 K is suitable for the lubrication of bulk parts like stud-bolts, nuts, sheet metal screws and tension springs. For hot galvanized nuts, the standard DIN EN 14399 is fulfilled in terms of required friction coefficients by using of GLEITMO HMP 9020 K. Furthermore a coating with GLEITMO HMP 9020 K pro-tects from corrosion.
Application method
GLEITMO HMP 9020 K is applied in undiluted condition. If required, it can be diluted with water. Stir thoroughly before use. The parts which should be dry and de-greased are coated by dip-centrifuging. It is necessary to dry the parts by hot air after the coating process. To avoid deposits of the solids in the bath, it is rec-ommended to use a low-speed agitator or a circulation pump.
Notes
Protect from frost! Shelf life in the closed original container is 12 months at room temperature.
