Description
CARBAFLO 2371 is a high temperature paste based on polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and perfluoropolyether (PFPE). CARBAFLO 2371 is characterised by high temperature properties, resistance to acids and alkalis, dielectric properties and corrosion protection. The operating temperature range of CARBAFLO 2371 is -35 to +280 °C.
Application
CARBAFLO 2371 is mainly used for the following application(s) / function(s):
- Roller and plain bearings
- Rails, joints and flaps in car interiors
- Sliding surfaces
- Lubrication points exposed to aggressive chemicals and gases
- Electrical contacts
- Seals The surface should be completely clean, i.e. free of dust, dirt, fingerprints, mineral oils or other synthetic oils. Apretreatment using CARBAFLO 790 is very beneficial.
