Description

TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20 is an innovative low-viscosity engine oil. The combination of state-of-the-art additive technology with a new base oil matrix provides the highest levels of performance regarding oxidation stability, resistance to oil aeration, wear protection, and shear stability. Significant improvements in fuel economy and CO₂ emissions were achieved by lowering the dynamic viscosity and employing a new additive technology of TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20. Thanks to its modern BluEV Technology formulation, the product TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20 meets the requirements of conventional as well as hybrid engines. The special composition of TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20 conserves a lot of fuel – more than 4% in the M111 FE Test, also resulting in reduced CO₂ emissions. The extremely high thermal
capacity and the optimised carbon bearing capabilities of TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20 offer enormous benefits for engines subjected to a lot of stress.

Application

TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20 was especially developed for the VW specification 508 00/509 00. TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20 is suitable for petrol and diesel engines. TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20 should only be used in diesel engines, when also low sulphur diesel fuel is used. TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20 was originally developed for conventional applications but additionally fulfills the requirements in selected hybrid applications according to the manufacturers specifications. BluEV Technology therefore builds the bridge between existing and new lubricant applications. TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20 is not backwards compatible with older VW specifications. Consequently, it may be only used in the approved applications! TITAN GT1 LONGLIFE IV SAE 0W-20 is miscible and compatible with conventional, branded engine oils. However, mixing with other engine oils should be avoided in order to fully exhaust this product’s benefits.
