Description

TITAN ATF 6400 was specially designed to deliver performance and increased fuel efficiency for modern automatic transmissions of Japanese and American
manufacturers where reduced viscosity is required; it meets the stringent DEXRON-VI and MERCON LV specifications. Thanks to its modern BluEV Technology formulation, the product TITAN ATF 6400 meets the requirements of conventional as well as hybrid drivetrains. TITAN ATF 6400 is based on a careful selection of base oils and additive technology which offers excellent wear protection, good viscosity-temperature characteristics and excellent friction properties. TITAN ATF 6400 provides exceptional NVH protection and consistent and strong friction control properties; it is also supported by real-life testing with nearly 1,000,000 kilometres.

Application

TITAN ATF 6400 combines the requirements of modern FORD, GM, and various Asian automatic transmissions. Due to the fact that DEXRON VI is strictly backwards compatible in GM applications it can be used also in GM automatic transmissions of the late 90s and early 2000s. TITAN ATF 6400 was originally developed for conventional applications but additionally fulfills the requirements in selected hybrid applications according to the manufacturers specifications. BluEV Technology therefore builds the bridge between existing and new lubricant applications. TITAN ATF 6400 is miscible and compatible with conventional, branded ATFs. However, mixing with other transmission oils should be avoided in order to fully exhaust this product’s benefits. A complete oil drain is recommended before converting to TITAN ATF 6400.
