TITAN FFL-52529
Description
TITAN FFL-52529 is a special transmission oil that was developed in an exclusive partnership with VW for the specific demands of VW double-clutch transmissions. Thanks to its modern BluEV Technology formulation, the product TITAN FFL 52529 meets the requirements of conventional as well as hybrid drivetrains. It ensures optimum friction properties and precise/fast shifting even under the most extreme loads. Moreover TITAN FFL-52529 meets the complex non-ferrous metal and electronic component requirements, which are of critical importance for the proper functioning of the electrical/hydraulic control circuit. TITAN FFL 52529 offers optimum wear and tear protection throughout the component's life cycle. Significant improvements in fuel economy and CO₂ emissions were achieved by lowering the dynamic viscosity and employing a new additive technology of TITAN FFL-52529.
Application
TITAN FFL-52529 was developed specifically for use in the DL382 (0CK) wet double-clutch transmission. TITAN FFL-52529 is exclusively approved according to VW TL 52 529-C (VW G 055 529). TITAN FFL-52529 was originally developed for conventional applications but additionally fulfills the requirements in selected hybrid applications according to the manufacturers specifications. BluEV Technology therefore builds the bridge between existing and new lubricant applications. To maintain the unobjectionable operation of the transmission, TITAN FFL-52529 must not be mixed with any other transmission oil. The product must be homogenized before use. In order to fully exhaust the products benefits mixing with other gear oils should be avoided and a complete oil drain is recommended before converting to TITAN FFL-52529.
