LOCOLUB ECO PLUS
Description
LOCOLUB ECO PLUS is a readily biodegradable wheel flange and rail lubricant based on a calcium thickener, easily biodegradable native base oil and solid lubricants. characterised LOCOLUB ECO PLUS is by adhesive properties, wear protection and pumpability in central lubrication systems. Sustainability meets performance. This product is based on selected sustainable raw materials which leads to a reduced Product Carbon Footprint (PCF). The operating temperature range of LOCOLUB ECO PLUS is -30 to +80 °C.
Application
LOCOLUB ECO PLUS was specifically developed for the following application(s):
- On-board lubrication for wheel/rail contact
- Lubrication points with the risk of water and soil contamination
- Central lubrication systems

Storage Conditions
The minimum shelf life is 24 months if the product is properly stored between 0 °C and 40 °C in its unopened original container in a dry place. The indication of a minimum shelf life does not include any guarantee of durability.
Notes
LOCOLUB ECO PLUS was successfully tested for its suitability as top-of-rail conditioning agent in accordance with DIN EN 15427-2 using the MTM and 2-disk test rig. LOCOLUB ECO PLUS can be applied via automatic wheel flange lubrication systems. Safety and disposal instructions can be found in the current safety data sheet.
