Description

LUBRODAL GS B1 – PLUS is used as a water miscible glass coating with good lubrication properties and protection functions, especially in hot forging of titanium and special alloys.LUBRODAL GS B1 - PLUS builds after its application on the metal surface and heating up to the forging temperature a thermal resistant and good adhesive film.LUBRODAL GS B1 - PLUS minimised oxidation and gas absorbance of the hot work piece. LUBRODAL GS B1- PLUS also reduces heat loss during transfer and forging operation.During hot forming operation LUBRODAL GS B1 – PLUS increases the flow of material and improves tool life.

Field of application

LUBRODAL GS B1 - PLUS is ready to use, but it also can be diluted with water up to 1:1. The optimal ratio of dilution has to be determined in practice.Consumption of LUBRODAL GS B1 – PLUS depends on size and shape of the forging part.

Method of application

LUBRODAL GS B1 - PLUS is applied by spraying on the preheated material, but it also can be applied by brushing or dipping. Strength of the glass coating is related to the heating and oven conditions.
