Description
ANTICORIT CPX 3373 is a waxy type of corrosion preventive, containing a base oil with low viscosity without solvents. ANTICORIT CPX 3373 is designed especially for the application inside cavities of car bodies using preferably spray coating methods. The product is characterised by its outstanding penetration behaviour in parallel with low migration tendency. The final protection film is touch-dry with an excellent adhesion on different substrates (e.g. steel, zinc, e-coated or phosphated surfaces). For quality control reasons an UV adsorbents is added to the ANTICORIT CPX 3373. ANTICORIT CPX 3373 maintains its protection behaviour and prevents rust infiltration even at damaged protection layer. To obtain this protection behaviour a film thickness of 30 – 50µm is sufficient. The new CPX technology enables drying of the protection film for the ANTICORIT CPX 3373 even at ambient temperatures. A short tempering process with consecutively cooling-down to ambient temperature supports the existing migration suspension of the protection film. Having an excessive coating the drying of the protection film will be extended strongly. ANTICORIT CPX 3373 meets the requirements of modern automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
Application
Due to its low viscosity ANTICORIT CPX 3373 can be applied with common spray coating devices at room temperature. Under specific circumstances e.g. for repairing purposes, the application by brush is possible. While using this product the valid safety instructions need to be considered. Due to the oxidative drying process the drum need to be closed properly and open drums need to be consumed fastly. During cold or hot storage temperatures e.g. transport the product can thicken. In this case the product can be restored to its former condition by gentle agitating, after the products reaches again room temperature independently. ANTICORIT CPX 3373 can be removed with any suitable solvent based cleaning agent. As known from any other thixotropic products, sedimentation can occur caused by thixotropic forming components. In this case the product quality can be restored by agitating.

Storage conditions
If sealed in the original packing, ANTICORIT CPX 3373 can be stored at temperatures between + 5°C to + 30°C up to 12 months. The indication of a minimum period of storage does not include any guarantee of durability.
