FUCHS LUBRICANTS CO. (US) ACHIEVES CERTIFICATION TO IATF 16949:2016 AND ISO 9001:2015

FUCHS Lubricants Co. (US) recently achieved certification to the new requirements of IATF 16949:2016 for both the SAF and the new 3C OEM plants in Harvey, Illinois. The Harvey SAF plant has been certified to ISO TS 16949 since 2012.

The global automotive industry IATF stands for excellent process quality, continuous improvement, and innovation. IATF 16949 is the standard for quality management systems of suppliers in this industry. It was developed by a joint working group, the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), with the aim of improving the quality capability and the entire certification process within the supply chain.
All FUCHS Lubricants Co. facilities have also completed the transition and certification to the new requirements of ISO 9001:2015. FUCHS Lubricants Co. has been certified to ISO 9001 since 1998.

The ISO (International Standards Organization) has developed a quality management system standard as a framework for organizations to identify and address risks and opportunities in order to meet the needs and expectations of the stakeholders.

Obtaining IATF and ISO certifications demonstrates FUCHS’ commitment to quality and a focus on continuous improvement, preventing defects, and reducing product variations and waste.
