FUCHS is partnering with the start-up E-Lyte to develop advanced electrolyte solutions for lithium-ion batteries - crucial for e-mobility. At their first German production site in Kaiserslautern, they manufacture customized electrolytes designed to optimize performance, safety, and efficiency. The facility is built for large-scale production of several thousand tons per year and emphasizes energy-efficient, sustainable processes, with the goal of establishing independent European supply chains.
