Description

MONTGOMERY DB 4265 C is an automotive body in white approved lubricant for medium to severe stamping and drawing. It is approved for use by GM, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Nissan. It provides excellent drawing lubricity for fine part finishes. It is recommended for all coated and uncoated steel and aluminum. This product is used on body panels and structural parts.

MONTGOMERY DB 4265 C provides a film that remains soft so it is not necessary to clean parts immediately. Its film strength protects tools and carries through die sections without repeated application. It provides exceptional anti-corrosion protection and is readily removed in most cleaning systems. It is compatible with all automotive postprocess operations, including structural adhesives.

How to Use

MONTGOMERY DB 4265 C is typically used neat to 4:1 with water. Your FUCHS representative can assist you in optimizing your dilution and applications.

The product should be stored in its original sealed container at temperatures between 45°F – 90°F. Safety data sheets are available. Before handling, read the product information and safety data sheets for proper handling and health hazard information.

How to Clean

Residual films are readily cleaned from parts with RENOCLEAN alkaline cleaners and all automotive pretreatment cleaners. Your local FUCHS representative can provide you with specific recommendations for your operation.
