TUF DRAW 1730R

Heavy Duty Coarse Emulsion Water Miscible Drawing and Stamping Fluid

Description

TUF DRAW 1730R is a heavy duty, course emulsion chlorinated, water dilutable drawing and stamping fluid. It is intended for severe drawing, stamping and blanking operations on heavy gauge steel, stainless steel, aluminum and nickel alloys. It is not recommended for copper or brass, unless parts are cleaned immediately after forming.

TUF DRAW 1730R is water dilutable so is economical to use and is easily cleaned from parts. It contains a corrosion preventive to provide "in process" corrosion protection.

How to Use

TUF DRAW 1730R can be applied with roller coat, brush or drip equipment. It may be used as received or diluted with blending oil or solvents depending on the operation. It can be diluted with water for flood or spray applications. TUF DRAW 1730R forms a coarse water mixture when used in this manner, therefore, constant agitation is required to maintain performance.

Typical water mix range is 2 to 4 parts water to one part TUF DRAW 1730R. For easy operations, the product can be diluted with up to 10 parts water
