SUGAR GLIDE HBL

Hot Bearing Lubricant

Description

SUGAR GLIDE HBL is a premium lubricant formulated to meet the demands of hot journal bearings in sugar mills. It is designed to be injected into over-heating bronze journal bearings in order to lower the operating temperature. It is safe, non-toxic and cost effective.

SUGAR GLIDE HBL offers a high affinity for steel, bronze and other surfaces. Its viscoelastic behavior provides superior film thickness and load bearing capability, while maintaining relatively cool operating temperatures.

Advantages

  • Contains no solvents or asphalt
  • Easy clean up
  • Separates easily from water
  • Protects against bearing and gear corrosion
  • Forms a durable water repellent adhesive film on all metal surfaces
  • Cools hot running bearings
  • Reduces lubricant consumption
  • Lower maintenance costs
  • Increased production rates through reduced fric- tion
  • Lower energy costs
  • Increased equipment life

Application

SUGAR GLIDE HBL is formulated to ISO 25,000 viscosity and formulated to meet or exceed U.S. Steel 224, AGMA 251.02 and DIN 51517 Part 3 industrial gear requirements.
