Description

GLEITMO SIL 599 is designed for the plumbing industry.   The primary application is to lubricate the snap ring and O-rings in faucets.  It possesses excellent water washout properties that keeps the material in place, and prevents the O-Rings from drying out, cracking and becoming brittle.  It is certified and listed NSF for Standard 61, the new requirement for the plumbing industry.

Can be applied manually to clean, dry substrates using conventional grease application methods, including brush, grease gun, or automatic dispensing.

  • Resistant to a wide range of chemicals; generally resistant to mineral  and vegetable oils, air, dilute acids, alkalines, most aqueous solutions and moisture
  • Serviceable consistency from -40° to 204°C (-40 to 400°F)
  • Practically nonvolatile

  • Resistant to a variety of organic and inorganic chemicals
  • Excellent rubber lubrication
  • Excellent release and sealing properties
  • NSF® Registered for Standard 61
