SOLCENIC GM 20
Fire-resistant hydraulic longwall fluid
Description
SOLCENIC GM 20 is a fire-resistant hydraulic fluid developed for global use in longwall mining applications.
The emulsion, formed with superior corrosion protection additives and lubricity enhancers, is stable in mine waters up to 250ppm hardness per CaCO3 when mixed at 2.0% by volume. SOLCENIC GM 20 is delivered as a concentrate and is mixed on-site as needed with a locally available water source. Expert technical services from the FUCHS mining team will provide guidance on the required mix ratio as well as filtration and maintenance recommendations.
FUCHS provides regular testing of the emulsion and the mine water. Each of our field representatives is a qualified mine technician with knowledge of the fluid and system. They can provide a field report in addition to a more-detailed analysis that can be performed in one of our laboratories located around the world.
SOLCENIC GM 20 mixes easily with water and is compatible with commercially available mixing units such as Conflow, Venturi, Dosatron and LMI.
In addition to the FUCHS line of SOLCENIC products, we offer a full portfolio of gear oils, automotive oils, greases, cleaners, and dust suppression options to support superior performance in all your operation’s equipment.
