Description
RENOFORM EXT 51 is a premium quality, extreme pressure (EP) cold extrusion fluid intended for a wide variety of difficult cold forming operations on ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. It provides superior EP lubrication to maximize tool life and eliminate metal pick-up on dies and punches. RENOFORM EXT 51 is concentrated and can be used as an EP additive to strengthen lesser cold forming fluids.
Application RENOFORM EXT 51 is flowed or flooded directly onto the dies and punches on large headers or parts formers. It can be applied directly to the wire or rod on small headers. RENOFORM EXT 51 is typically used as received for difficult operations. For economy on less difficult operations, it can be diluted with blending oil. RENOFORM EXT 51 residues are readily cleaned from parts with solvents or alkaline cleaner solutions.
