ANTICORIT CPX 3373
High performance corrosion preventative for vehicle underbodies using spray coating methods
Description
ANTICORIT CPX 3373 is a polymer coating used as rust preventative for auto and light trucks underbody areas. It contains very low VOCs, making it an environmentally friendly alternative to solvent containing products. The product is characterized by its very low migration even under elevated temperatures. The cured film is touch dry and has excellent adhesion on multiple substrates (e.g., CRS, Zinc coated steel, e-coated or phosphate surfaces). ANTICORIT CPX 3373 contains a UV dye making it easy to inspect via the use of a UV light.
ANTICORIT CPX 3373 maintains its rust protection properties even when the film has been damaged. To obtain this protection a film thickness of 50 micron – 200 microns is required. ANTICORIT CPX 3373 meets the requirements of modern automobile manufacturers and suppliers.
Application
ANTICORIT CPX 3373 can be applied via common airless or air assist spray systems at room temperature. Under specific circumstances (i.e. repairs), application by rush is possible. Due to the oxidative drying process, unopened drums should remain under their original seal and opened drums should be consumed quickly. Should transportation conditions result in hot or cold conditions, the product can thicken and gentile agitation should be used until the product reaches room temperature again.
