Description
RENOFORM OL 2219 is a heavy-duty fineblanking oil intended for use on steel and stainless steel alloys. It contains a customized blend of extreme pressure (EP) and lubricity additives for smooth edges and extended tool life. It is especially effective with heavy gauge and stainless alloys. This oil has excellent stain and corrosion preventive properties to reduce rework. RENOFORM OL 2219 contains very long chain chlorinated paraffins, however, it has enhanced corrosion control and ease of cleaning as compared to other chlorinated fluids.
Application
RENOFORM OL 2219 is used undiluted as received. It can be applied by sprayers, roller, dip, or flood and performs effectively in recycling systems. The product should be stored in its original sealed container between 45° - 90° F. Safety data sheets are available. Before handling, read the product information and safety data sheets for proper handling and health hazard information. RENOFORM OL 2219 is readily cleaned from parts with most alkaline part cleaners. Your local FUCHS representative can provide you with specific recommendations for your operation.
