RENOFORM PST 7309 SYN
Paste Water Miscible Forming Fluid
Description
RENOFORM PST 7309 SYN is a water soluble drawing paste. It is intended for cold heading and severe forming of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is safe for use on copper, brass and similar alloys. RENOFORM PST 7309 SYN coatings carry through, so re-application for redraw is not necessary. Residual films are readily cleaned from parts and equipment to prevent “down line” problems and provide cleaner working conditions. RENOFORM PST 7309 SYN provides “in-process” protection for manufactured parts. The paste is also sulfur and chlorine free.
How to Use
RENOFORM PST 7309 SYN is used as is or diluted with water for less difficult draws (3:1 to 9:1). When diluting, add water to RENOFORM PST 7309 SYN slowly with agitation until the desired dilution is obtained. The concentrate can be applied using roller, swab or brush methods. Water dilutions can be applied using the same methods, and may also be sprayed if the viscosity of the mix permits.
