RENOFORM OS 2805

Heavy Duty, Water Soluble Drawing & Stamping Compound

Description

RENOFORM OS 2805 is a heavy-duty, chlorinated soluble oil intended for severe drawing and stamping on steel and stainless steel alloys. Renoform OS 2805 contains very long chain chlorinated paraffins, however, it has enhanced corrosion control and ease of cleaning as compared to other chlorinated fluids.

RENOFORM OS 2805 is water-soluble, so it is economical to use and is easily cleaned from parts. It contains a rust inhibitor to provide excellent “inprocess” corrosion protection of ferrous metals. RENOFORM OS 2805 is non-gumming for a clean running operation, and is compatible with carbide tooling.

How to Use

RENOFORM OS 2805 can be applied with roller coat, brush or drip equipment. When diluted with water to a fluid state, it can be flood or spray applied.

For very difficult draws, use RENOFORM OS 2805 as received without dilution. For easier operations, mix RENOFORM OS 2805 with water, blending oil or solvents. For flood or spray applications, the typical dilution range is 1 to 9 parts water to 1 part product.

Your FUCHS representative can assist you in optimizing your dilution and applications.

The product should be stored in its original sealed container at temperatures between 45°F – 90°F.

Safety data sheets are available. Before handling, read the product information and safety data sheets for proper handling and health hazard information.

How to Clean

RENOFORM OS 2805 is readily cleaned from work with alkaline cleaner solutions. Your local FUCHS representative can provide you with specific recommendations for your operation.
