RENOFORM OS 7250
Heavy-Duty Emulsifiable Drawing & Stamping Compound for Use in Recirculation
Description
is intended for severe drawing, stamping, and blanking operations on steel, aluminium and nickel alloys. Unless parts are cleaned immediately after forming, compatibility with specific galvanized material should be tested prior to use.
RENOFORM OS 7250 is designed to resist microbial growth, so provides long sump life in recirculating systems. It mixes easily with water to form a stable emulsion. It can be readily cleaned from parts in standard wash systems. It provides excellent in-process corrosion protection of ferrous metals.
Applications
RENOFORM OS 7250 is typically used in recirculating flood systems. It can also be applied by spray, roller, or dip.
Depending on the severity of the work, typically it is used at 3:1 to 9:1 with water.
Advantages
- Heavy duty formula makes difficult and complex parts
- Resists microbial growth so provides good sump life in recirculation
- Mixes with water so is economical and easy to clean
- Excellent in process corrosion protection
Industries
- Metal processing
