Water-soluble synthetic metalforming lubricant
Description
ECO DRAW EG40 is a water-soluble synthetic lubricant for use in moderate to difficult metalforming operations. It is especially designed for drawing and stamping both ferrous and zinc coated steel. ECO DRAW EG40 does not typically promote staining of galvaneal and galvanized steel. It also provides very good in- process anti-corrosion properties for ferrous parts.
ECO DRAW EG40 protects tool coatings, tooling, and parts from galling. It has been tested for compatibility with automotive post processes, including structural adhesives.
Advantages

- It does not typically promote staining or corrosion of automotive zinc coated steel and provides very good anti-corrosion protection of ferrous metal.
- Clean to work with. Reduces housekeeping and hazardous slippery floors
- Film is extremely easy to remove in most wash systems. Usually cleaner use and temperature can be reduced.
- Can usually be welded without washing. It does not generate smoke.
