Description
CEPLATTYN OGAS-NA Open Gear Lubricant is a high performance, high viscosity, all-season extreme pressure open gear lubricant. It is formulated using premium components and highly refined mineral oil combined with a synergistic blend of additives that provide superior rust, corrosion, oxidation, anti-wear, and extreme pressure protection. This lubricant is designed for year-round use with superior pumping, spraying, and draining properties while providing high film strength and load-carrying capacity.
CEPLATTYN OGAS-NA Open Gear Lubricant is specifically designed to meet the severe demands for high load carrying and gear protection under the very demanding conditions typically found in heavily loaded open gear sets. This lubricant will withstand sliding velocities and shock loading conditions present in the application with excellent gear adherence at elevated temperatures due to its unique viscometric and adhesive properties while preventing build-up of deposits in gear tooth roots.
CEPLATTYN OGAS-NA Open Gear Lubricant meets or exceeds the critical requirements for the lubrication of heavily loaded open gears. It can be applied by spraying, brushing or dripping. Fulfills 9005-E02/Table D-2 (formerly AGMA 9005-D94/15R).
