ANTICORIT RP 4107 S
Thixotropic Corrosion Preventative
Description
ANTICORIT RP 4107 S is a thixotropic corrosion preventative intended for steel mill application to cold rolled and zinc copated coiled drawing stock. It can also be applied by the steel user to protect partially formed parts. It resists migration on coiled stock and vertically racked parts. This feature reduces weeping from coils and assures consistent coating weights.
ANTICORIT RP 4107 S provides oustanding corrosion protection under conditions of condensing humidity, salt atmosphere, and open shed storage. It does not contain barium.
How to Use
ANTICORIT RP 4107 S is best applied to steel electrostatically. When applied in this manner, it must be heated to 122 – 155 °F (50 – 65 °C) at the point of application. Peabody, United Air Specialists, and Duma have approved its use with their equipment.
Your local FUCHS representative can provide correct operating parameters for your operation, including application besides electrostatic.
Advantages
- Resists migration
- Consistent coating weights
- Excellent corrosion prevention
- Outperforms conventional mill oils
- Easily cleaned in standard pretreatment systems
- Barium free
Industries
