Renoclean SGC 72
Central System and Individual Sump Cleaner
Description
Renoclean SGC-72 is mild alkaline cleaner intended for clean out of machine tool coolant central systems and individual machine sumps. It provides excellent detergency to break loose fines, soap scum and other solid debris. Renoclean SGC-72 is formulated with an effective biocide package to guard against inoculating the subsequent coolant charge with bacteria and fungus.
Renoclean SGC-72 provides interim corrosion protection for machinery and system components.
How to Use
After draining the system of coolant, it should be recharged with 3% dilution of Renoclean SGC-72 in water and circulated. This fluid should be dumped and the system should be rinsed with fresh dilute (1%) coolant solution to prevent rust just prior to recharging.
When a proper clean-out cannot be accomplished in systems with compatible machined components and a low risk of foaming, Renoclean SGC-72 can also be added to coolant before it is drained, and circulated for several hours.
Advantages
- Excellent wetting
- Contains a biocide package
- Safe on many alloys when added to coolant prior to cleaning
- Breaks loose fines and other solid debris for easy removal
- Protects tools and equipment between dump and recharge
Industries
- Metal processing
