Renolit PTG

Post Tensioning Grease

Description

RENOLIT PTG is manufactured using highly refined petroleum base stocks and additives to provide excellent corrosion protection, lubrication, and adhesion. RENOLIT PTG is a highly compounded corrosion preventive lubricant designed for use on coated tendons in the post tensioning industry. It meets or exceeds the “Performance Specification for Corrosion Inhibiting Coating” for un-bonded single strand tendons as published by the Post Tensioning Institute.

RENOLIT PTG can be applied to tendons at ambient temperature for both extruded and manual plastic coating operations. Its film will remain both flexible and stable from below 0°F (-17.8°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) for the required lubricity during the post tension operation.
