STABYL HT 100
General purpose, semi synthetic lubricating grease
Description
STABYL HT 100 Is a versatile non-melting grease formulated form high quality paraffinic base stock fortified with select synthetic oils. It is gelled with bentonite thickeners and fully treated with a complex additive package to provide excellent oxidation resistance, anti-wear and extreme pressure protection over a long service life.
STABYL HT 100 provides a tenacious film of protection for maximum retention in the presence of heat and high loads. It will not drop or run out of the bearing at elevated temperatures, thereby effectively blocking out dirt, grit and other solid contaminants that can otherwise lead to premature bearing failures.
Features
- For plain or anti-friction bearings, slides, cam tracks, pins, bushings
- Non-melting with a wide operating range from -20oF to 400oF
- Extreme preasure tolerance for heavily loaded applications
- Heat and oxidation resistance contibute to long service life.
- Mechanical stabilty and adhesive properties extend relube cycles
Field of application
STABYL HT 100 is designed to handle a multitude of general plant lubrication requirements. It is suitable for plain or anti-friction bearings, as well as slides, cam tracks, lead pins, small open gears, chucks or crimping devices used in various manufacturing processes.
Especially indicated for use in high heat applications such as those found in pulp and paper converting, plastics, glass, ceramics, and similar industries with regular operations in exposure up to 400oF
Method of application
Lever type grease guns, bucket pumps or other dispensing equipment suitable for NLGI grade 2 grease can be used to apply STABYL HT 100. It can also be applied by brush or putty knife to open surfaces.
