Anti-wear, multiply-alkylated cyclopentane grease for aerospace and vacuum applications
Description
RHEOLUBE 2004 is a sodium complex soap thickened, medium viscosity, multiply-alkylated cyclopentane (MAC) grease fortified with anti-oxidants and anti-wear additives. This product has lower outgassing properties compared to RHEOLUBE 2000.
Unlike other lubricants on the market MAC lubricants are the only greases and oils that offer the unique combination of extreme wear protection, low outgassing, and additive compatibility for optimal performance in aerospace and vacuum applications.
Application
RHEOLUBE 2004 is intended for instruments and bearings in aerospace and vacuum applications where long life is critical such as:
- Extreme-temperature precision bearings in navigational instruments
- Precision bearings in space suits
- Bearings in satellite reaction wheels
- Gear drives and other high load applications
