ANTICORIT PL 1132
Oil-Based Blankwash Fluid and Forming Lubricant
Description
ANTICORIT PL 1132 is a low-viscosity, oil and solvent-based blank wash and corrosion preventative for cleaning and protecting cold-rolled and zinc coated sheet steel prior and aluminum prior to forming operations. In blankwash systems, it effectively removes surface contaminants to promote a consistent metal finish.
ANTICORIT PL 1132 provides outstanding lubricity for various metals and substrates, including ferrous, zinc coated, and aluminum. It provides effective lubricity for forming but leaves minimal residue on stamped parts. The oil film provides excellent indoor corrosion prevention for in-process storage of blanks and formed components. It is easily removed with mild alkaline cleaners and is compatible with phosphating processes, electrophoretic paints, and established adhesives used in car body construction.
ANTICORIT PL 1132 has been approved for use by Toyota Engineering.
How to Use
ANTICORIT PL 1132 is used undiluted in coil and blank washing systems. Recommended coating weight is 0.8 to 1.5 g/m2. It can also be spray or roller applied as a forming lubricant.
