RENOFORM EXT 319 HT

Description

RENOFORM EXT 319 HT is a medium duty, non-chlorinated, semi-synthetic lubricant that contains significant extreme pressure (EP) additives. It is intended for difficult cold forming operations on cold headers and cold part and tube formers. It is especially effective for operations that generates excessive heat and works successfully with ferrous and stainless-steel material.

RENOFORM EXT 319 HT contains very little mineral oil yet provides excellent EP lubrication to reduce the generation of heat and reduce or eliminate smoke. It also reduces or eliminates the varnishing of lubricant on manufactured parts. Any residual film remains oily, so parts are easy to clean.

RENOFORM EXT 319 HT is inhibited to avoid corrosion of copper and copper alloys. This promotes safe dual side lubrication where equipment and the product permit.

Application

RENOFORM EXT 319 HT is typically used as received without diluting. It is flowed or flooded directly onto dies and punches on large headers or part formers. It can be applied directly to the wire or rod on small headers.

RENOFORM 319 HT is readily cleaned from work pieces with mild to moderately alkaline cleaner solutions.
